MEMBERSHIP

Open to Malaysian citizens aged 18 and above who have made significant contributions to the Association; or to progress in the teaching and learning of one or more areas in the Association; or to the advancement of research and development and professionalism in information technology and related applications as defined by the Association; or to meaningful developments in information technology. Candidates for Honorary Members can be nominated by members of the Association in secret but with 2 supporters from existing Honorary Members or the Committee. The proposal must be complete with the candidate’s biodata and proof that he or she is eligible to be appointed as an Honorary Member. Once the agreement has been reached, the Committee Member has the authority to award the candidate as an Honorary Member of the Association which allows him to use the title FMITS which means FELLOW OF MALAYSIA INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SOCIETY

Open to all Malaysians aged 18 and above and are academics and professionals in the field of information technology currently serving in Malaysia.

Open to all regular members who pay a fee of RM300.00 at once.

Open to all organizations such as government agencies, associations, and interested companies. The number of representatives is 3 people for each member of the organization representing 3 votes.
